Last night in the headliner of day one of the Lynden Christmas Classic, the Lynden Christian boys beat Sunnyside Christian 67-55. LC is ranked first in Class 1A, Sunnyside is first in Class 1B.
The Meridian girls fell to La Center 56-49. The La Center Wildcats took over the late scoring making the last 8 points Taylor Stephens tallied 25 for the Wildcats with 18 in the second half.
