OLYMPIC NATIONAL PARK, Wash. – The Coast Guard rescued a hiker on Sunday, September 19th, who was missing in Olympic National Park for a week.

Crews located 26-year-old Jerren Fisher in a ravine near Six Mile Trail in the southeast area of the park but couldn’t immediately reach him because of the steep terrain.

They called in a rescue helicopter from Air Station Port Angeles and Fisher used his flash light to guide them in.

The aircrew transferred him to EMS crews in stable condition.
