Comments on the plan to restore the grizzly bear population in the North Cascades are welcome at a public meeting next month.
The National Park Service and the US Fish and Wildlife Service are hosting a public meeting on the draft North Cascades Ecosystem Grizzly Bear Restoration Plan at the Okanogan County Fairgrounds on October 7.
The Draft plan is currently open for comment through October 24.
The public can submit comments online.
