BELLINGHAM, Wash. — You have a chance to comment this evening on a proposed ordinance that would allow temporary tent or small building encampments for the homeless in Bellingham.

The ordinance, if passed, would set limits on the size and siting and the number of people allowed to stay in the temporary encampments hosted by religious or other organizations.

The City Council will hold a public hearing Monday, 7:00 P.M., at City Hall.
