CONCRETE, Wash. – The town of Concrete is working to clear its water system after E. coli and coliform bacteria were found.
The Department of Health confirmed the presence of the bacteria on November 23rd and the town immediately began notifying residents.
They are advised to only drink water from the system if they have boiled it first.
The town is chlorinating the system and the boil water advisory will be lifted when the bacteria is no longer detected.
Concrete boasts of some of the purest water in the region and does not normally chlorinate the water in its system.
