BURLINGTON, Wash. – The owners of a Burlington Hotel that’s considered a threat to public health, safety and welfare say they may sell.

The Skagit Valley Herald reports the owners of the Sterling Motor Inn are now considering two offers.

The Burlington City Council took action against the hotel because of methamphetamine contamination and the high number of fights, drug deals, burglaries, and prostitution.

The city wanted to buy the hotel, but the owners turned down the offer.
