BELLINGHAM, Wash (AP) – National Parks Conservation Association wants to stifle expansion at BP’s Cherry Point refinery.
The state already granted permits for BP’s growth in Whatcom County.
The Association says it wants the state to reconsider because refinery operations impact air quality in the Olympic and North Cascades National Parks.
