BELLINGHAM, Wash. – The right lane of northbound I-5 will be closed at Bakerview near milepost 257 from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Thursday, September 16th.
The existing Bakerview on-ramp to northbound I-5 will remain open during construction.
A second northbound I-5 on-ramp is being added on the east side of the freeway to improve traffic flow.
And Old Fairhaven Parkway will be closed near I-5 over the weekend while crews work on the Padden Creek fish passage.
The road will be fully closed at 30th Street from Friday, September 17th at 6 pm until 6 am Monday, September 20th.
A detour will be in place on Donovan Avenue for drivers but pedestrian traffic can still access the route on the north side of the street.
