WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. – As the heat continues to climb, Whatcom County health officials are reminding folks to keep cool.
Cooling centers are available at nearly all libraries within the Whatcom County Library System.
For Ferndale residents, City Hall and Pioneer Pavilion are also open to beat the heat.
Other cooling centers include Base Camp in Bellingham, the Lynden Community and Senior Center, and the East Whatcom Regional Resource Center in Kendall.
County officials added that air conditioning is being installed in several other public locations.
