ISSAQUAH, Wash. — Costco is taking steps to prevent members from hoarding food during the COVID-19 crisis.
The company announced on its website the amount of fresh beef, pork, and poultry products will be limited to three per customer at all stores.
This update comes as meat processing facilities across the U.S. struggle to stay in operation and get an oversupply of product into stores, including a Tyson beef plant in eastern Washington that had to temporarily shut down for COVID-19 testing.
