WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. – Whatcom County Health officials have confirmed more deaths connected to COVID-19.
Data posted on the state’s Department of Health website shows 6 more people have died from coronavirus complications in the county since October 1st.
Whatcom County’s death toll from the virus now stands at 140.
The COVID-19 death rate in Whatcom County remains lower than the state’s 1.2% average.
