BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Whatcom County is looking for partners to establish severe weather homeless shelters.
Needs include shelter space and personnel to run the temporary shelters.
The shelters would only run days and nights during severe weather and wouldn’t operate continuously through the winter.
The county can provide help with volunteer training, custodial support and funding for water and snacks.
