BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Voters in most Whatcom County school districts are receiving ballots for a special election involving school levies.
Most of the ballot measures are to replace expiring levies that pay for education programs, school support, maintenance and operations that aren’t fully funded by the state.
Those would not currently affect a property owner’s current tax bill, but they would affect them eventually.
Ballots must be postmarked or in a ballot box by February 11th.
More information about ballot measures are available on the VoteWA website.
Locally, find information on levies from Bellingham Schools.
