SEATTLE, Wash.(AP)-A man who served time in prison for defrauding his neighbor out of nearly $800 thousand was arrested again.
This time he was taken-in along with his wife after police say they tricked investors out of hundreds of thousands of dollars.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office in Seattle says Sung “Laurence” Hong and his wife, Hyun Joo “Grace” Hong lied about their investment credentials and failed to disclose Hong’s 2007 fraud conviction.
Prosecutors say they solicited millions of dollars in purported investments, but used the money on a Clyde-Hill mansion, a yacht and luxury vehicles including a Lamborghini.
