MOUNT VERNON, Wash. — Two more people have died from COVID-19 at a Mount Vernon nursing facility.
Both are related to an outbreak reported on July 6 at Mira Vista Care Center, according to the Skagit Valley Herald.
County data shows a total of 241 cases of the illness have been reported in July, making it the county’s worst month yet for the virus.
The county reported two hospitalizations related to the virus Monday, continuing an upward trend in severe cases.
