GEORGE, Wash. – Residents of Whatcom, Skagit and San Juan Counties are among 160 cases of COVID-19 tied to a recent music festival at the Gorge Amphitheatre.

The Seattle Times reports more than 25,000 people packed the outdoor venue for the Watershed Music Festival between July 30th and August 1st.

The Grant County Health District expects more cases tied to the festival to be identified.

The district urges anyone who was at the festival to self-quarantine and get tested.

Concert promoter Live Nation, which presented the festival, says vaccination wasn’t required for this event but will be for all artists, staff and concertgoers nationwide beginning October 4th.
