BELLINGHAM, Wash. — A helicopter hovering around Bellingham earlier this week was helping police investigate an assault.
Bellingham Police Lieutenant Claudia Murphy reports the felony assault investigation took place on Wednesday in a heavily wooded area in the 4200 block of Tull Road, near Olive Garden on The Guide.
Murphy says one assault victim was taken to the hospital to treat facial injuries and they called for Omaha, CBP’s helicopter, to provide aerial visual support while officers looked for the suspect and potential other victims.
Their search came up empty and police do not have a suspect description at this time.
