CUSTER, Wash. – Whatcom County Sheriff’s Deputies have arrested a convicted felon in the theft of a motorcycle and thousands of dollars of other items in a new burglary spree.

Chief Deputy Kevin Hester says investigators began looking for 30-year-old Andrew Allen Fisher in connection with the break-in of a storage unit on Birch Bay Lynden Road on May 16th.

They attempted to arrest him at his Custer home on Tuesday but he fled to an out-building.

He then escaped out a window, apparently leaving his phone, ID and pants behind but a K-9 unit tracked him down.

Officers with a search warrant found boat motors, fishing and power equipment, a short barrel shotgun and many other stolen items in the out-building.

Fisher was booked into jail on a dozen charges.
