BELLINGHAM, Wash. — If you’re planning a road trip across the border this weekend, plan your pit stops away from Custer’s rest area.
The Custer rest area will close in both directions on Saturday, November 23, from 8 AM to 4 PM.
Crews are doing a water flush following unexpected repair work this week.
Travelers should use the Bow Hill rest area as an alternate until it’s re-opened.
