BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Unlike Cher, you can turn back time — in fact you have to this weekend as Daylight Saving Time ends.
At 2:00 AM Sunday morning, set back your clocks an hour and make sure they match up with your digital clocks that reset automatically.
During this time the Fire Marshal’s Office advises people to also replace the batteries in their smoke alarms and test them, while Puget Sound Energy says this is a good time for customers to weatherize their homes so they don’t waste money and energy.
PSE reports the average home wastes up to $1,200 a year because of simple issues like air leaks, old light bulbs and inefficient water heating.
