SEATTLE, Wash. (AP) — Celebrity crab-boat captain Sig Hansen has been sentenced to probation for spitting on an Uber driver last year in Seattle.
The Seattle Times reports the 52-year-old “Deadliest Catch” star was given a deferred sentence, put on a year of probation, and ordered to undergo alcohol treatment.
Hansen, who lives north of Seattle, pleaded guilty to assault charges after he spit on the driver and dented his car in May 2017, after the driver said he couldn’t pay in cash for his family’s ride home.
