BELLINGHAM, Wash. — The last day to register online to vote, or to change your address if you want to vote in the August 7th primary election, is July 9th.
Whatcom County Auditor Debbie Adelstein says if you have a Washington Drivers License or State I.D. card, the quickest way to register or change your address is online, at this website.
You can also mail in a paper registration form, or stop by the Auditor’s Office in Suite 103 of the Whatcom County Courthouse. For these options, the deadline is Monday, July 30th.
This primary will narrow down candidates for positions that include U.S. Senator (currently held by Democrat Maria Cantwell), U.S. Representative for the 2nd Congressional District (currently held by Democrat Rick Larsen), and State Senator for 42nd Legislative District (currently held by Republican Doug Ericksen).
