SEATTLE, Wash. — Amazon ordered 20,000 vans for its new delivery program that would allow contractors around the country to launch businesses that deliver packages for them.
The Seattle-based company originally ordered 4,500 vans, but it greatly increased that order after it was inundated with applications.
Amazon’s net value passed $1 trillion on the stock market Wednesday making it the second company to ever do so, right behind Apple.
