BELLINGHAM, Wash. — A 26-year-old Deming man pled guilty last month to vehicular homicide in a DUI crash that killed a Maple Falls man in January 2016.
Connor Mackenzie Bloom was driving west on Mount Baker Highway near Everson-Goshen Road when he attempted to pass multiple vehicles, including a semi, while speeding.
Ronald Baker was driving east and was hit head-on when Bloom failed to get back into the right lane in time.
Court documents show Bloom admitted to being high on marijuana and meth at the time of the crash.
