DEMING, Wash. – A young woman from Deming was one of two people who were killed in a crash on Highway 2 in Snohomish County last Thursday, November 18th.

The State Patrol reports 23-year-old Haley Terry was driving west near Monroe when her vehicle left the road to the right.

She overcorrected and crossed the center line and hit an oncoming dump truck head-on.

She and her passenger, a 28-year-old man from Everett, were killed.

Neither were wearing seatbelts.

The truck driver from Lake Stevens was injured and taken to a hospital.
