OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP) – You’ll soon be prohibited from holding mobile phones or other electronic devices while you’re driving.

Our state’s new, tougher distracted driving law goes into effect July 23rd.

After that, you can be ticketed for simply holding phones, tablets and other devices, even when you’re stuck in traffic or waiting for a traffic light to change.
