LYNDEN, WA. – (KGMI.com) The Lynden School District is holding a meeting next week for those wanting to learn more about the proposed new high school.

The informational meeting will be held at Lynden High School on Tuesday, November 7th, at 6 p.m.

Superintendent David VanderYacht will start by explaining why the upcoming bond and levy are needed for a new high school, among other services.

Those in attendance will then see a video tour of the current Lynden High School, followed by a self-guided tour of the campus.

The meeting is expected to take about an hour and a half.

It comes as the district voted to put a $157.5 million bond and a $44.4 million levy on the February 2024 ballot for a special election.
