LYNDEN, Wash. – Donations of cash and badly needed items are still being collected for local residents recovering from last week’s floods.
The Whatcom Community Foundation’s Resilience Fund is collecting money that will only be used to help with local flood recovery efforts.
And supplies of everyday items that displaced people need are being collected at the fairgrounds in Lynden.
They’re accepting personal new and unopened hygiene products including diapers and other baby supplies, clothing, furniture, and other household items.
Donations should be new or in like-new condition.
Building materials, computers, printers, and phones aren’t being accepted.
Drop off donations from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, November 26th, this week.
