FERNDALE, Wash. – State senator Doug Ericksen in now in stable condition in a Florida hospital after being med-evac’d from El Salvador.
KOMO reports the senator from Ferndale is recovering after he tested positive for COVID 19 on a trip to the central American country.
The Ferndale Republican messaged fellow lawmakers on November 11th asking for help getting monoclonal antibody infusions.
Ericksen’s vaccination status and the reason for his trip to El Salvador are unknown.
