BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Police arrested a Bellingham man who they say fought with employees of a downtown bar and threatened them with knives.

Officers responded to the bar on Cornwall Avenue just before midnight Monday night and found employees of the bar detaining 29-year-old Jonathan Way.

The workers say he appeared intoxicated when he walked up to them and said he was going to fight them.

Way was arrested on charges of felony harassment and assault.
