BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Public safety has been a major concern for businesses all across Whatcom County, especially in downtown Bellingham.
But local organizations are hoping an upcoming public meeting will answer some of the questions surrounding safety in the area.
The Downtown Bellingham Partnership will be holding a town hall meeting addressing public safety on Tuesday, September 20th at the Rotunda Room of the Old City Hall (Whatcom Museum) at 121 Prospect Street.
A panel discussion will kick off the meeting, with participants discussing topics such as state laws impacting law enforcement.
The free event is also being held in conjunction with members of the Bellingham Regional Chamber of Commerce.
