LYNDEN, Wash. – A lane closure in downtown Lynden this week will make accessing Hannegan Road a bit tricky.
First Street between Grover and Front Street will be closed to northbound traffic all week from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. starting Monday, May 9th.
Detours will be in place and traffic could get a bit backed up at times.
You will be able to access the Hannegan from Grover, but northbound traffic into Lynden will have to turn left or right on Front Street.
The closure is due to Puget Sound Energy working on utility upgrades.
Work is expected to be completed on Friday, May 13th.
