Bellingham’s first Downtown Sounds event of the season was cut short by a bomb threat.
The threat was reported just after 8 p.m. and police evacuated the scene at Bay and Prospect Streets.
Police say no device was found and no injuries have been reported.
Downtown Sounds is a live music event presented by the Downtown Bellingham Partnership Wednesday evenings in August.
