SEATTLE, Wash. — More than thirty-five people across five counties, including Skagit, were arrested in connection with violent drug trafficking.

On Wednesday agents served search warrants in King, Pierce, Snohomish, Thurston, and Skagit Counties on the suspects, and investigators say some were caught on wiretaps discussing shootings and plans to get guns.

Prosecutors accuse the people of trafficking meth, heroin, cocaine, fentanyl and marijuana.

Agents also seized hundreds of thousands of dollars in cash.
