SEATTLE, Wash. (AP) — Harborview Medical Center in Seattle reported 36 people were injured in some way by fireworks between July 3-6 this year, of which 20 had to be admitted into the hospital.
According to KOMO, seven people suffered injuries grave enough to require amputation of fingers and even an entire hand.
Many others sustained broken bones.
