SKAGIT COUNTY, Wash. – A driver was killed in an car accident near La Conner early Tuesday morning, July 12th.
The Washington State Patrol says the 48-year-old Camano Island man was driving east on Mclean Road when his car crossed the center line near Best Road and hit a pole.
The driver was not wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash is still under investigation and the name of the deceased will not be released until the family is notified.
