BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Drone footage of a pond in Blaine led authorities to a missing woman’s body.
Whatcom County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the 3000 block of H Street Rd. on Tuesday morning for a missing person report of a 29-year-old woman from Ellensburg.
The woman reportedly went missing from her parent’s residence in Blaine after she had shown up unexpectedly the night before.
Drone footage helped locate her body in a nearby pond, where she was recovered by Search and Rescue personnel.
The Sheriff’s Office reports there were no signs of trauma and no signs of foul play at the scene.
