LYNDEN, Wash. – The Washington State DSHS is moving its Mobile Community Service Office due to flooding.

The Office will now be located at 1775 Front St in Lynden and will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. today and Thursday, December 2nd.

They activated the Disaster Cash Assistance Program for Whatcom County flood victims yesterday.

Anyone who was unable to stay in their home during the flooding may be eligible for DCAP money.

The program requires an interview and there’s an application process.

The cash assistance is available to residents regardless of citizenship status.
