ORCAS ISLAND, Wash. – A dump truck driver was airlifted to a hospital after deputies said the truck rolled and slid into an Orcas Island home.
KOMO reported the locally owned dump truck struck the house around 10:30 Tuesday morning.
It’s unclear if anyone was inside the home at the time, but the driver was the only one who suffered injuries.
Estimated cost for the damage is forthcoming. Photos show the truck went into an outer wall of the house, and the cab of the truck was completely collapsed.
