CASTLE ROCK, Wash. – Just after 12:30 Wednesday morning, a 3.9 magnitude earthquake hit east of Mount Saint Helens and was immediately followed by a number of smaller quakes.

KIRO reports the quake was felt as far away as Portland, but no damage has been reported.

The Pacific Northwest Seismic Network shows the area had seen 15 earthquakes as of 3:45 this morning.

These are on top of 82 small quakes reported at Mount Saint Helens in the last 30 days.
