VANCOUVER ISLAND, BC. – A large earthquake hit off Washington’s coast early this morning.
The 4.5 magnitude quake struck about 100-miles south of Tofino, British Columbia on Vancouver Island just before 2:30 a.m.
Around 11 people, including three from Whatcom County, told the United States Geological Survey they felt it.
There was no tsunami warning, damage or injuries.
