BLAINE, Wash. – If Easter weekend was any indication, border traffic is getting back to normal.
KIRO News reports travelers heading south into Whatcom County from Britch Columbia were experiencing hour-long wait times in Blaine and Sumas on Friday, April 15th.
Lynden reported wait times of around 30 minutes.
Border crossings were backed up again on Sunday, April 17th, as travelers headed back to Canada.
It was the first long weekend since Canada changed testing requirements for travelers crossing the border.
