OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP) — Washington’s June unemployment rate remained unchanged from the previous month’s now slightly revised rate of 4.6 percent.

Numbers released Wednesday by the Employment Security Department show the state’s economy added 6,000 jobs in June, with the largest job gains in education and health services, information and manufacturing.

Job losses were seen in construction, wholesale trade, leisure and hospitality and financial activities.

The state added an estimated 82,700 jobs since June 2018.
