BOTHELL, Wash. (AP) — Edward Nixon, the youngest brother of former President Richard Nixon, died Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2019 at a nursing facility in Bothell.
He was 88.
A geologist and Navy Veteran, Edward Nixon worked on his brother’s 1968 and 1972 White House campaigns and served as co-chairman of the Nixon re-election committee in 1972.
Richard Nixon was 17 years old and getting ready to start college when Edward was born on May 3, 1930, in Whittier, California.
