GOLD BAR, Wash. — A 78-year-old motorcyclist was hurt after troopers say he rear-ended a Bellingham driver in Snohomish County Sunday afternoon.
The State Patrol says Paul B. Peterson of Sequim was following too close on Highway 2 in Gold Bar and hit Trevor Holmgren’s car when he slowed for traffic.
Peterson was taken to the hospital.
Holmgren and his passenger were not hurt.
No charges are expected at this time and troopers don’t believe drugs or alcohol were involved.
