MOUNT VERNON, Wash. — Kids with visual impairments across Washington are invited to a Paralympic event in Mount Vernon this Saturday.
The Northwest Association for Blind Athletes is hosting their 2019 Paralympic Experience event at Washington Elementary School to provide students with visual impairments an opportunity to participate in basic fundamentals in sports and other physical activities, including tandem biking.
The Paralympic Experience is open to all Washington K-12 students with visual impairments, welcoming parents and teachers of the visually impaired as well.
