CHELAN, Wash. – An evacuation order is in place while crews battle a wildfire near Chelan.

KIRO reports that as of 4 p.m. Monday, July 18th, the fire, called the Stayman Flats Fire, had burned more than 750 acres with zero percent containment.

Chelan County Emergency Management has set up an emergency shelter at Chelan High School.

People in the area should stay alert and adhere to all evacuation orders.
