EVERETT, Wash. — Everett is the latest Washington city to join Bellingham in banning single-use plastic bags.
The Daily Herald reports the Everett City Council voted unanimously this week to approve a plastic bag ban.
State lawmakers have also announced plans to propose a statewide ban during the upcoming legislative session which begins in January.
