BIG LAKE, Wash. – A hit-and-run crash in Skagit County has claimed the life of an Everett man.
The Washington State Patrol said in a statement that 53-year-old Melvyen Loehr was walking on SR 9 in Big Lake last night, Tuesday, March 29th, around 8 p.m.
Loehr was struck by a vehicle heading north, which didn’t stop after hitting him.
Loehr was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators do not have a description of the car that hit Loehr.
