EVERSON, Wash. – Everson Police are crediting a concerned citizen with helping get guns and dangerous drugs off the street.
The department says a person called 911 to report a suspicious vehicle parked at a construction zone on Everson Goshen Road last Thursday, June 23rd.
Responding officers found two people passed out in a car with no plates.
They awoke them and got their consent to search the car.
That yielded counterfeit pills made from fentanyl, drug dealing paraphernalia, cash, two handguns including one that was reported stolen, and other stolen items.
Both are convicted felons who are not allowed to possess guns.
After an investigation officers arrested just one person, 40-year-old Adam Wisniewski, on drug dealing and weapons charges.
